I've moved 16 times in my life, and I've never had an easier time with a move like I did this past week.
I read reviews for the best moving companies in the Valley and was pretty set on a different company (the priciest one). My biggest concern with the move was making sure our three LCD TVs survived the trip, and to my surprise, this was not guaranteed by the other company, and they required all TVs to be in their original packaging for the move! Who keeps a box to a 52"" TV for 3 years? So I canceled and went with Muscular Moving Men.
Adam and Matt were AMAZING. I stayed at the new apartment while my boyfriend stayed at the old house waiting for the movers. We filled up their truck to full capacity and the distance between the old house and the new apartment was 25 miles. They did the entire move in under 4 hours (which had been their estimate when I had sent them an itemized list of items that would need to be moved), and they were beyond friendly and helpful. They placed everything where we asked them to at the new apartment, and at the end they asked if we needed help moving anything else to a different spot.
There was no damage to our beloved TVs or our furniture. Our entertainment center has huge heavy glass plates and they were wrapped perfectly and arrived in one piece.
They never took a single break. They were working hard the entire time. They were thankful that the move was so ""easy"" and that I'd left everything labeled and had created room for all the furniture to be moved out in a quick and easy fashion. They were super friendly.
They didn't even have another move to do after mine and they could've slowed down to squeeze a few extra dollars out of me, but instead they maintained their level of efficiency through the entire process and finished 30 min prior to the total they quoted me.
If I'd gone with the other company, they would've completely underquoted me (despite me sending an itemized list of items that needed to be moved) and I would've easily spent 3x what I spent with MMM.
