Piedmont Dance Consevatory is not your typical dance studio. It's focus is on technique and teaching dancers how to perform. The studio has classes in all forms of dance but it's strength is ballet/pointe and modern. PDC has classes for students of different abilities and has worked with several students who want to become professional dancers. PDC is run by Rebecca and Daniel Wiley who are professional dancers with major accomplishmwnts. They pass on their knowledge and experience to their students about the dance world. The studio has done a couple of competions but is not a true ""competiion studio"". PDC performs the ""Nutcracker"" every year in Kannapolis and it has become a wonderful Christmas tradition for the town. PDC also has started a annual tradition of a outdoon performance in the park (Kannapolis) every June which includes professional dancers from major city ballet companies. PDC is located in Kannapolis just opposite the Dale Earnheat Memorial. The studio building is big and the has a couple of spacious dance rooms. The waiting area is nice with vending machines for drinks and snacks. Tuition is very reasonable and there are several payment methods. If your child is serious about dance and
