I'm not one to write reviews on-line, but this restaurant deserves all the attention it can get! A friend had recently been to Japan for a year and developed a love for tonkatsu, a deep fried pork cutlet in a tasty tonkatsu sauce. She brought me to Takkatsu and we've been loyal customers ever since! You usually can't get food like this outside of Japan, but Takkatsu brings this Japanese favorite to the US. With Kurobuta pork (the Kobe beef for pork), amazing Japanese curry, fantastic service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is a must for anyone visiting the Northwest suburbs. Pros: Food, serivce, quality Cons: Parking can be tough
