Review content:
Founded in 1895, we are one of the oldest family-oriented not-for-profit ethnic social organizations in the Capital District. We are open to the public and welcome all, no matter their ethnic or religious background. German heritage and club membership is not necessary to enjoy yourself here. If you are interested in meeting and making new friends, stop in and see us, especially if you enjoy German-American tradition and culture. Every month we host an event, usually a traditional old world German dinner exquisitely prepared in our commerical kitchen and served in our restaurant and banquet hall. For your entertainment we feature live German and Polka music at most events for your listening pleasure and for dancing. In the cooler months, events take place in our spacious banquet hall. During the Summer we host monthly picnics and Friday night Biergarten events in our beautiful pine tree shaded park- Schuetzenpark, which is also the last original German Biergarten still in existence in the Capital District.
