Review content:
I tried learning guitar by myself for one month using learn-by-yourself books. In that time, I learned 2 chords by heart. (I am an adult student). After one month of lessons with Glen, I knew the 7 major chords (with alternate pickings on some) plus the minor chords. After four months of lessons, I impressed my family by finger-picking two songs and improvising with my dad. Glen listened to my goals and geared the lessons to that end. With his guidance, I know what to put my energy into and have learned how to maximize practice time. He pulls from his experience as an active musician plus his formal education from a well-known music college. His teaching encourages creativity and improvisation. Madeleine Arel-Davis Pros: Encouraging, Patient, Knowledgeable
