Review content:
I know this chain from the old days in Hermosa Beach (on Hermosa Ave) when it was the best Thai place in town. I have eaten at the Malibu outpost in years past, but not within that last couple of years. OMG, the service was sooooo terrible. Surly, slow (10 minutes to get a Diet Coke in a can), and ultimately my visit was unrequited by an actual meal. After sitting for 20 minutes, my waiter came and told me that they would not be able to serve me because the cook was busy with the health inspector. He just kind of shrugged his shoulders and walked away! I give this two stars out of my memories of meals past, discounted by the frighteningly bad service. I usually eat at Cholada Thai at Topanga and PCH, which is hands-down one of the best restaurants in the Topanga/Malibu area. Pros: My memories were not shattered by bad food Cons: Probably the most indifferent attitude from a server, ever.
