Review content:
After calling around to a handful of Computer Repair shops in Broomfield, I live way up north in Anthem, Todds Computer said they do come up here for service calls all the time.
He listened to the problems I was having with my 4 year old HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. I told him it would boot up okay, however after a 1/2hr it would get really hot on the bottom of it and shut down. He asked a few questions and gave some FREE advise that I could do on my own to try and fix it.
When I called back 2 days later and I said it was still overheating and shutting down. He told me that there were a lot of HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario laptops built with nVidia graphics cards that have the same problem. I asked if he could just save the info on my hard drive and he said he could after his current appointment and came out that afternoon.
Then, he suggested I buy a business class laptop in the future since I use this for my at home business. Next week when I get my new DELL Latitude laptop I will have Todds Computer put all my info back onto it. Glad I call Todds Computer, they pick up the phone and have fast, same day service.
