I just had Royal Roofing do a major re-roof to a large section of our Sunkist Growers World Wide Corporate Headquarters in Sherman Oaks, Ca. It was a very difficult job, done during the heat of the summer, and I could not have been more pleased with the results. President Steve Pinkus delivered on every single item in the contract (and more) and I feel his crew, especially his foreman Ramon, went way out of their way to keep the job site clean, safe, and as "un-noticable" as possible. Ramon and his crew were on time everyday, willing to work long hours and weekends to accomodate our work schedule, and had newer trucks and equipment. All the roofers were in uniform everyday and were always very courteous to my staff and all the Sunkist employees they came in contact with during the job. The tear off itself was more difficult than anticipated by Steve, but he did not complain, or throw a bunch of extras my way. I have been in the Facilities Management business long enough to know some, if not most roofing contractors would have stopped the job midway and would have started throwing "change orders" at me like baseballs. Not Steve. Somehow, he and Ramon got their guys to work even harder, and they took care of business as stated in the contract. No whining, no moaning, no cutting corners. I feel Steve, Ramon and crew went way beyond what was asked, especially paying attention to the "little things". After watching Ramon and his guys work under the scorching sun for almost a month, I could tell that everyone of them took pride in their work. The crews workmanship and professionalism was oustanding and all treated my roof as if it was their own. When I had my final walk through with Ramon, I could tell he was extremely proud of the job he and his guys had just completed and I could not agree more. Well done Steve, Ramon and Crew, and thanks again for a job well done.
