Businiess name:  Latino's Auto Repair

Review content:
I was first referred to Latinos Auto Service & Repair by a towing service that felt Miguel was someone that would give a fair price and honest assessment. That was fifteen years ago, and I have been using his shop ever since. Miguel has been both honest and reasonable with me. There have been times when a problem has turned out to be less complicated than originally thought, and he has made the less costly repair. Without him telling me, I would never have known. Another time I had an intermittent horn problem, and when the horn did not misbehave for him, rather than make a costly repair as I expected, he did not charge me and said letâ??s wait until he can be sure what the problem is before tearing the steering column apart. Often there is more than one way to repair an issue, and Miguel always presents the options and lets me know which one is better. I have a little bit of car knowledge, and a couple of times on a repair I thought about doing it myself. When I called to compare prices on parts (I have a friend who is a parts store manager), I was pleasantly surprised to find that his quotes were about what I would have paid. Once when I did do my own repair on changing out a wiper motor, I found out the hard way that not only does Miguel get better quality parts than I did, his warranty is also better. I should have let him do it the first time, as it would saved me a lot of money and time. He is also good about preventive checking things by doing more than just looking at it. For example, the other day on my daughterâ??s car he found one tie rod end dangerously worn and lose. I had missed it since I did not know how to properly check it on her import. He really has vast knowledge on many issues. You can tell he has first hand experience with a lot of little details and can give you practical advice. He is good at explaining things if I have a question. Even though Latinos Auto Service & Repair is a small shop, they also have a loaner car. Miguel is very flexible in his service and really tries to make things right. If he says something needs to be done I feel you can trust him. I know that I don't need to second guess things.
