My boyfriend and I eat here every chance we get. Even during this recession, we don't spend a lot. If you go during lunch hours, overall price is half what you'd pay for dinner. I'm vegetarian and I eat for only about $12. Although, I wouldn't recommend getting the deep friend tofu (or the plain tofu). They don't flavor it, so it retains tofu's normal taste and texture. Also, for vegetarians, I have been able to get the appetizer miso soup without its usual beef or chicken broth, but you need to ask and be clear what it is you'd like. Pros: Vegetarians eat cheap, lunch cheaper than dinner, entertains Cons: tofu is less than desirable, need reservations for dinners
