Review content:
I've had my camera repaired for the same problem by Forster's Camera three times during the past 2 years. They kept telling me it was a faulty camera model. I ended up using a camera repair shop in Alpine, Utah, for 1/3 the price and it hasn't had a problem since. Today, I just read a story on KSL dot com (go to KSL dot com and search for ""New Nikon repair policy"") concerning the camera repair industry. The owner of Forster's Camera (John Forster) said he wasn't worried about camera repair parts availability because he has a huge ""Bone Yard"" of used cameras to Cannibalize for parts. Now it all makes sense! My camera was probably repaired with used parts! What does it say for the owner of a Nikon Authorized Camera Repair shop when he says his huge ""Bone Yard"" of cameras will provide parts for their repairs? I think it's a fraud! I paid good money for a repair (three times) and expected new parts to be installed in my camera. I'm out over $700 for repairs that were half as*ed. I'll never use Forster's Camera again. Beware!!!!!
