Review content:
I just want every body to know that I took my Honda to the Tysons dealer for some recall work. While it was there, they called and said it needed a power steering pump, rear brakes and some flushes. I had doubts because we did not feel any problems and I had been burned before by other big dealers. We had a good experience with Tysons Auto Specialties a few years ago with our old car, so we asked them to check it out for us. They found the power steering pump (that the dealer said was leaking) to be completely dry and the brakes only half worn! Tysons Auto Specialties saved us from spending over $1000.00 on stuff we really did not need!!! By the way, this is the 3rd time we caught a big dealer (each different) doing something like this. Goes to show ... ""All that glitters is not necessarily Gold."" And in this case ... Three strikes and the dealers are out! I prefer a more personal relationship with this shop that actually cares more about doing a honest days work ... than raking up the all mighty dollar !!! We only wish that we had stopped going to the dealers years ago! Again, Thank You Mr Ivey for looking out for our best interests ... Sincerely Miss Lily
