HORRIBLE. SCAM ARTISTS.
Take your car to Midas- If you want to pay 3X what you should for parts and have CRAPPY Service and CRAPPY Labor.
Midas in Lewisville gets a star from me simply because I can not rate it any lower. These people are consummate scam artists. My mother took her car here in November for some MAJOR repairs, they supposedly replaced her fuel pump and some belts- with ""brand new parts"". A couple of weeks ago her car breaks down again near the school where she teaches in Dallas. She had it towed to a shop in Coppell, as it was closer and thus a cheaper tow. After looking at the car we were informed that the parts were NOT new, and the labor had been sub standard. Needless to say we called Midas, who were willing to replace the parts with once again ""new parts"" under the warranty she had- peachy. Then they proceeded to to tell us that we had made a mistake having it towed elsewhere, claiming the other shop was lying to us, and that they probably had messed up the work previously done by Midas.
Midas then told us they would have to charge us for the labor- something to the tune of $400. The man we dealt with on the phone, Brian was RUDE. The Manager cursed in the background before being put on the phone. INEXCUSABLE.
Long story somewhat shorter, we opted to have the shop in Coppell fix the car instead. They did it without charging us for the labor after everything my mother had been through.
