I am a previous long time customer. When dealing directly with Wendy you get the idea that she believes her own press. No doubt the food and presentation are exceptional. However, we are talking food and people here. The food is prepared by cooks who are talented but there are plenty of those types around?unemployment is up. The wait staff (very good) are all independent-contractors and work wherever and whenever someone calls. Other folks are in this biz and events are off. Bad economy and all. So, the diva act is great for the opera but not for the person cooking for the after party. The customer ultimately either calls next time or you know, just doesn't.
