My mother passed away and I have never had to deal with her oriental rugs in the past. I had a mixed bunch of wool and silk rugs that I needed cleaned and stored away while I figure out what to do with them. Armen Oriental Rugs was recommended by my designer and I found that they are probably the most educated about cleaning these things. I am still trying to let the information sink in. They picked up the rugs from her home, cleaned them and even removed some spots and pet odors that I thought were permanent, delivered them back to me all within a week. I had them wrap a few in mothballs since they were going into storage. I don't know too much about rugs much less antique rugs but these guys definately knew what they were talking about. They impressed me enough to make the call.
Pros: They did an excellent job with the cleaning.
Cons: They aren't open on weekends, would have been easier for me to do it on a Saturday.
