Review content:
I had heard such good things about Country Burger but was very disappointed. I just moved to Mesquite and was out trying to figure where the good places were to eat and had been referred to Country Burger and the new Bacon & Friends down the road for having the best burgers. I bought identical burgers from both places so I could try them out to see who was better. Price was pretty similar so it came down to taste and Value. Bacon & Friends won hands down on both counts, their Burger was 1/2lb compared to 1/3lb at CB. I got the Bacon cheese burger at both places. Bacon & Friends used a sesame seed bun Country Burger used a non seeded bun. The Bacon from Country burger was tough and cold while the Bacon from Bacon & Friends was true to the name and was fresh and tasted like it was just cooked. The Country Burger patty had no flavor, it tasted like a high fat ground beef. Bacon & Friends burger was juicy and had a very good flavor like they added something to it. The set up on the burger was pretty similar but Bacon & Friends has hand cut fries compared to Country Burgers frozen fries like you get at McDonalds. If I would rate the 2 I would give CB a 4 out of 10 at best and B&F gets a 9 out of 10.
Pros: Speed of getting my food, true fast food place
Cons: quality of food
