Dr. Li is a great alternative to western medicine. Not only does he make you very comfortable (I usually fall asleep during treatment!), but he is very kind and listens very carefully as you describe your ailments. I have had him treat a tendon issue in my hand, a skin issue, and lower back pain. I have come away with immediate relief and feeling even better after a couple of days. All of this without any pain medication. Any post procedure treatments are usually herbal, or lack any medicine at all. All of this and a reasonable price, about the same or much less than a massage or spa treatment with much better results. If you have never experienced acupuncture, Dr. Li will make you a believer! As a martial artist, I do not like to miss class due to injury or soreness. Acupuncture will get you back into your routine faster than the typical advice of most doctors who say ""take this anti-inflammatory and rest the area for several days, you'll be fine in about 4-6 weeks"" Even if you are not an active person, you should give acupuncture a try. Pros: Gets you back on your feet quickly Cons: Can be painful when needles are first inserted
