Few months ago I bought a early 4runner four cylinder, it was driving very badly and had to do smog check I took it to 2 other (smog repair not their specialty) places previously and they fixed some things but still failed smog. After reading reviews at several places I took it to Hi tech Automotive even though I live in 90057. I like the fact that Fred does repairs and the Gold Shield means exactly that, he is an expert at it and has the diplomas to back it up (in the lobby as you can see on the pictures). On arrival he tested it on the machine and failed again, afterward's he pinpointed correctly few issues with my truck, gave my a high estimate (to me on minimum wage). After thinking about it I preferred some peace of mind, the fact he knows what he is talking about, and the guaranty that repairs be made on spot and it will pass.
