I purchased a 2000 Celica for $8600 out the door. It was overpriced, but I couldn't afford to not have a car. It had transmission problems, and that the bearings needed to be replaced. I test drove the car with my mechanic and he idendified the sound (and some other small problems). The dealship agreed to repair ALL problems before I buy it. After the weekend they called me and said it was fixed and ready. I took there word for it, and I bought it without re-test driving. THEY LITERALLY DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING. I was driving to school the next day when the car stalled on the freeway! Now I don't have a car and I can't go to school. Luckily it was under a 30-day warranty, and after I brought the car back AGAIN, they agreed to fix the real problems AGAIN. Finally they managed to fix the car to a safe and acceptable condition (not for long). Unfortunentely they only fixed the car well enough for it to work until the warranty expired. After 30 days went by, the engine threw a rod, rendering the engine totaled, and the car un-driveable AGAIN. They deliberately sold me a dangerous, broken lemon. I have been talking with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm ready to sue them over this scam. They are DISHONEST, LIARS, SCAMMERS!!! STAY AWAY!!!
