Review content:
The owner decided to more than double our agreed-upon price for her services on our wedding day. Unfortunately, our phone calls asking for an itemization and explanation were not returned. Janet finally responded to a letter we sent by listing exorbitant prices for accessories, which we know for a fact aren't that expensive. Basically, it is still unclear why she would not have quoted the full price when we initially discussed this with her. Obviously, had we known what the full cost would have been, we would have considered alternatives. We are left to assume that she simply took advantage of the fact that it was our wedding day since she knew we would not have time to question the discrepancy. We consider this to be a very poor and unethical business practice and we would advise caution before retaining their services prior to an important event. There are better salons out there run by honest people. Cons: Unethical business practice, mediocre styling.
