I bought the extended warranty on my Frigidaire dishwasher 14 months ago. It stopped working in September. They first set me up with a TV repair shop that did not know how to repair dishwashers. I am now 1 month out, 2 service providers, 2 no-shows, 3 actual visits from 2 different technicians, and 2 replaced parts later and guess what? The dishwasher still doesn't work. The ""customer no-service"" reps at the warranty center and the store manager, Slim, have been condescending and unhelpful. They have already spent more on repair costs than the dishwasher is worth, but continue to refuse to replace it. In what universe does that make any sense? I remember the salesperson giving me a speech ""that with the extended protection plan we will either fix your appliance or replace it."" I guess that the extended warranty works great as long as you never need it.
