Review content:
Highly recommend NO ONE bring his or her child here. My 13 month old son attended this daycare for one day and one day only. His first day started with his teacher not welcoming him on HIS FIRTST DAY. He was uneasy about the new surrounds and she did absolutely nothing to comfort him and make him feel safe. I don?t even think she looked at him crying on the floor. My mother picked him up from First Years about 2:15pm and saw a gash on his eye. She then proceeded to question the teacher on what happened. The teacher explained that one of the kids scratched his eye but it was an accident. My mother left the facility and immediately called me to let me know about the gash. I was highly upset because according to the office manager it?s their policy to inform parents of injuries on the head and face. I examined the gash on his eye and came to the conclusion that my son was not going to return to the daycare. Not because of the gash but the fact that I was not informed about the incident and it being his first day and all. I called the office manager the next morning and explained what happened and that my son would not be attending the daycare anymore. The office manager later contacted me with details about the incident. She called it an investigation. According to her the teacher said she did not tell my mother that a child scratched his eye by accident but that she told my mother she just noticed it and he must have scratched himself when he was taking his nap. So they are calling my mother a liar. I wasn?t informed about the gash because the teacher just noticed it, but it happened during his nap that lasted from 10:15am ? 12:15am. My mother picked him up for 2:15pm. So this means according to their story the teacher didn?t bother caring for my child for two hours to not have noticed a ? inch gash on his eye. The director of course took up for her employees. I am so extremely happy I decided to take him out on this disgusting facility because of the continuous lies and the filthiness of the daycare. This daycare really STINKS. The odor was on my son?s clothes that were immediately changed when he got home. The carpets are stained. The walls are disgusting. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone.
