Review content:
The pizza wasn't very good. For a place with ""pizza"" in the name, I expected better. Especially for the price. Average large price is $16 -18 a pie and that large isn't very big either, at only 16"". But, I was there with friends (8 of us, 4 pizzas ordered) and thought I'd let it slide, but the concensus was all around that we all expected better. For instance, my wife and I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. It had virtually no sauce on it, only a hint of BBQ flavor at the outside edges of the crust. The chicken on top was horribly dry. It also had green peppers and tomatoes which were virtually raw, very crunchy which I don't really like on a pizza. The roasted garlic cloves were good, but they were whole cloves and a little can go a long way. Honestly I've had better frozen pizzas that cost a fraction of the Laurelwood's price. One of the people in my group ordered the pepperoni and I tried a slice. Very underwhelming. Perhaps the pizza isn't very good because they focus so much on organic and free-range ingredients, but I'd hate to blame it on that as by and large I prefer the better flavors of natural ingredients. Other than the BBQ Chicken pizza it is hard to say just what was missing with all their pizza in general, other than flavor. They just seemed bland, over priced, and as others have mentioned, the service wasn't great. I don't believe anyone in my party will be back. Better pizza can be had from the frozen foods section or via delivery. Can't reccommend it.
Pros: They serve beer.
Cons: Pizza isn't good, parking is tough, lots of kids.
