Businiess name:  Taverna Winery & Restaurant

Review content:
Taverna is fantastic. Excellent wines at near retail prices (no 4x restaurant markups here). The food is unique, and eclectic, but very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. It is one of those places you might expect a $200 tab, but two will dine and drink for about half of that. Opt for a bottle of wine...if you don't finish it, they will cork it for you to take home. Now, if there a knock, the waitstaff is not as ?refined? as the menu and atmosphere suggest. If this is important to you, stick to Fleming?s, Perry?s or Kirby?s and the $200 tab. For us, we?ll take the great food and spirits and pocket the difference for a slightly less knowledgeable and efficient waitstaff. Taverna is well worth the drive to Conroe! Pros: Great reasonably priced wines, unique menu items prepared well Cons: Waitstaff not as ""refined"" as other upscale eateries, spotty service speed
