As MadisonMile stated the Customer is always right. For Over (7) years of Pickup and Delivery Service we AT SouthStreet Soapbox have lived by this motto.We also provide do it your way laundry and dry cleaning service. With Madison this became the downfall of our relationship. Madison always requested that her items not be placed in dryer but be placed on hangers for air drying to be returned to the doorman of her attended apartment building usually (within 8 hours). This is not a normal request and when we began our relationship we voiced our concern that there were issues we would not be responsible for such as possible bleeding of colors, if placed in plastic possible mildew if not taken out promptly when received, etc. etc. But this was her request and for years we uncompromisingly provided this service WITH NO PROBLEMS. There was one week when Madison was away and assigned her husband to grab these items from the Lobby. Evidently he placed these items which were in a plastic covering in the closet and joined Madison on vacation which resulted in the smelly situation that she described. We reminded Madison of our original concerns. Although we felt not at fault we offered to give 50% discount. They wanted not only the complete refund of items but also replacement of clothing. Yes Madison is right in how she describes these events but leaves out the other pertinent details.
I now understand why people invest in REPUTATION DEFENDER.
