I'm a professional woodworker (luthier) and I've been shopping with them for over 10 years. Jim & Lorraine (owners) are the friendliest people. I have a smaller transport vehicle for wood, and they always cheerfully cut the pieces to fit in my car (no surcharge). The selection for domestic woods is great, and pretty good for exotics. There's been a few times over the years that I needed something that wasn't in stock, and they special ordered it for me.
Their prices are the best around. I've also gone to Beavertooth Oak (Medford) on occasion, but Hardwoods Plus is always lower by a pretty good margin. Plus Beavertooth always charges for each board cut so it will fit in my car (that can get spendy quick).
