I have shopped at this store for many years, but it has gotten bad the last couple of years.
I buy a lot of electronic parts. MCM used to be a good place to buy low priced patch cords, connectors, batteries and such. They used to have reasonable shipping, not any more. The quality of parts has really gone down hill.
I was lured to there site by a pricewatch.add for a hard drive for $65. MCM did not honor
there advertised price, instead they charged me
$77. the site said it was back ordered for two more days.I purchased it anyhow thinking I could get a price adjustment if I brought it to there attention.
NOT MCM they waited the four days it took for the drives to come in before replying.
I got an email from Patty telling me because of the floods in Thailand MCM's prices for future orders of this drive were going up. So they cancelled my order.
Patty told me I could order one for $124 now, but she couldn't give me an ETA. She blamed
pricewatch. for the price problem.
Now the day after I ordered the drive the MCM site dropped the price to $70.66 so I at least thought I would get it for that with there price guarantee.
Fact is MCM got these drives at the before flood price but they want to sell them at the after flood price. I went back to pricewatch
and found the drive now offered at $77 I clicked on the add and the MCM site shows them for $111 in stock.
