Review content:
I took my $3000+, silk-satin, couture, swarovski-crystal beaded gown there after my wedding and trusted they'd do an excellent job, especially because they assured me of their experience and expertise. I had a HORRIBLE experience BEFORE my wedding (on my wedding day!) and I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again. So, I had Steamer Cleaners ""clean"" it this time, but there was one stain they couldn't remove, so they suggested that they could clean it again using liquid. They'd said they tested a small area and said the fabric was fine, and though they told me there were risks in damaging the silk, they were confident it would be fine. THEY were the experts, so of course I trusted them, but whatever liquid they used RUINED my dress!! The fabric lost ALL of it's sheen, weight, smoothness and brightness - it was creased with lines up and down the dress, and the silk became FLOPPY! They expressed no remorse and took no responsibility for what happened. My once-beautiful gown is now sitting in my closet, completely worthless. They not only ruined the dress itself but also my memory of it. So much for my daughter wearing it one day...
