Review content:
I am a regular at Ala Moana pawn shop and I have to say I was in the shop when Chris, the poster below came in. What caught me off guard was that he asked the owner of the shop to show him ALL the gold so that he can make a purchase. When the owner asked how much Chris wanted to purchase he told him only a tenth of an ounce. I had to restrain the laughter because it was a smaller store and my amusement would have been obvious. You don't go into a store and tell the owner to show you everything he has, especially since Chris is either a criminal and wanted to rob the guy or he was not a serious buyer. I overheard him say he is a gold dealer but if he's a dealer - why is he only looking to buy small quantities like that? I've been going to Ala Moana Buy & Sell for 15 years and have never seen a customer so beligerent and demanding over $150 worth of gold. Perhaps next time he can go to K-Mart for his gold purchases since that seems more suited to his budget.
