Review content:
Let me start off by saying I've eaten at nearly every sushi restaurant in Little Rock and I think my two favorites are Sekisui and Kanpai. My husband and I live a few hours from Little Rock and make the trip as often as possible to eat sushi. We love it. Sekisui has everything you would need in a Japanese restaurant. Eyebrow singeing Hibachi, okay sushi (for being landlocked), and oh so good plum wine (which I get every time) at just $5 a glass. My only real complaint with Sekisui is that there are not enough staff. I have gone when it wasn't buy at all and waited nearly an hour for our tuna rolls! Sekisui is also a little pricey, but honestly all sushi places in Little Rock are.
P.S. If you decide to check out this place you MUST ask for a side of Japanese spicy mayo or Eel sauce. They have the best Eel sauce I've ever had.
We're making the trip up to Little Rock tomorrow bright and early!
Happy sushi going!
