Review content:
We went here based on reviews and the fact that we were told it was one of the only 2 German run restaurants with German cooks. The atmosphere was lovely, had a live accordian player throughout our entire dinner. The spatzel was wonderful (i got it plain) and the red cabbage was also good. I ordered the schnitzel ""wiener art' (they don't have traditional veal, only chicken or pork) and found it EXTREMELY dry. I had to add LOTS of lemon juice to help soften it up. Since weiner schnitzel is one of my favorite German foods, I will probably be going to a different restaurant in the future. My husband and friend shared a Schweinshaxe and found it to be fairly bland tasting, but otherwise good. We did not order one of their pretzels, but I saw one go buy our table that looked HUGE and tasty.
Pros: authentic menu items, German beers on tap, live music
Cons: very dry schnitzel, medicore service
