Review content:
I love love love Woodlawn. I began my riding instruction as a little kid at their camps, and then rode at Tamarack Stables and Justice-Snowden Farm for several years. I started riding again at Woodlawn a little over a year ago, and WOW. I'm 100% in love with this place. The horses are fantastic (especially Belle!), the instructors have been amazing and helped me correct some bad habits, and the other riders are very friendly, as well. Although the facilities are being threatened by a bypass, they are amazing... They have an indoor ring, an outdoor ring, a large field to jump and do flat work in, and a small strip of trails. I will let you know that if you're looking for a barn where you can jump decently high (about 3' - 3'5"") this will not be the place for you. However, if you're content jumping smaller jumps and focussing on position, horseman ship, etc, I would highly recommend this barn. The other upside to it is there are 3 barn shows that take place in the spring and are incredibly fun and allow for some friendly competition.
