Seriously, there's always a line in both the pick-up and dropping off prescription lines. No matter what time of day...I've tried early morning, mid-morning, lunch, after lunch, early afternoon and evenings.
I understand that they are probably overwhelmed and have a lot of customers (and from whenever I've been in line, a lot of problem customers) BUT service is absolutely terrible until you actually get your grubby hands on the prescription.
If the doctor calls it in, you can forget about picking it up until the next day. You might have better luck having it called in at the Emmett Street branch but even there, there's a line and a wait.
Today's visit was typical. No one in the dropping off line (I thought) but nope, there was a customer who was shopping and periodically coming back to answer questions about her payment (of course, she wasn't sure if she had COBRA or what kind of prescription). After she left, I thought I might, just might be able to drop it off and come back, say, tomorrow and get it without TOO much difficulty. The clerk working that line was typing something. She ignored me but she had time to have a chatty little conversation with someone behind her.
At this point, I said forget about it -- I'll go ANYWHERE else and drop it off. It's not worth the aggravation.
