I found this place several years ago when I lived out in Devine, I took a deer to be processed there and found out they make their own sausage, salamie, jerky and other items as well. They have some of the best sausage I have ever tasted. Everytime I stop in Castroville I go by to pick up some fresh or already precooked sausage as well as some of their wonderful beef jerky. I also noticed they now have their own little bbq place right next door. I will have to try that out next time. Its definately worth stopping at just make sure you get directions, its off the main road.
Pros: Never had anything that I didnt like
Cons: sometimes their supply is limited to just a few items
