Review content:
The ""resort"" is directly across from a nice stretch of beach, on Seawall Blvd. Thats where the ""nice"" aspect of this place ends. The exterior stucco is cracked and crumbling from years of neglect and storm damage. The units themselves are water-damaged and have a heavy mold/musty smell. The first unit we were given, this past Labor Day weekend (2007) had dead insects on the appliances, kitchen window sill, on the carpeting downstairs, the stairs and around the edges of the bedrooms. The bathrooms came complete with other people's body hair (yuck!) The ""cottage cheese"" finish on the ceilings was crumbling in places and had been patch; the wall paper, everywhere, was pealing and falling off the walls and many walls had holes in them and/or other signs of abuse. Around the windows had clearly suffered water damage and any metal fixtures were showing signs of rust. Finally, the furniture was filthy dirty and ripped in many places. Thinking this might just be a fluke, we complained and were shown another unit - the ""best one they had"" and it was, by and large, no better!
Pros: Great view of the ocean
Cons: Water damage; moldy/musty smell; dead insects in the units; poor housekeeping
