I have been cutting my own hair for four years, and was beginning to realize that I will eventually get tired of the one haircut that I know how to give myself ... and I read that this salon is good with curly and wavy hair ... so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I went! I had my hair cut by Valarie and she was awesome! I was immediately put at ease because she didn't rush into cutting ... she listened very thoroughly and asked a lot of questions to confirm what I wanted. She wasn't even fazed by my request for no styling products (I don't use styling products because of sensitive skin). And even with that limitation she did a great job of cutting my hair. I got just what I wanted - a haircut that fits my hair's natural waves and has a nice shape without products or straightening. She cut my hair dry with no products (the same way I wear it on a typical day). I am very happy about my cut. It is hard to find stylists who are good at cutting curly or wavy hair, but Valarie did a great job and I highly recommend her to anyone with curly or wavy hair.
