I have not stayed in downtown Portland before, but was looking for somewhere to stay for my honeymoon. Ended up getting a great deal on one of those discount sites and then when we showed up after our wedding ceremony and reception, all dolled up of course, they upgraded our room to a suite. A very pleasurable stay even if we were only there for one night. They also have bikes to check out but I think they only have two. I liked the fact you could bring your pet. Hung out in the morning in the sitting area with our coffee. Loved the fish in our room. Bedding was great and it was quiet, no street noise. Great animal print robes, fabulous giant bathroom. Service was great and they quickly brought us some forks to eat our wedding leftovers and they had already displayed the bottle of champagne that my new inlaws had gifted us. Overall great stay, no complaints. I would definitely stay there again.
