Last summer I had a bridal shower for my daughter at Capt. Bill's. I have to say the brunch buffet was absolutely wonderful! Everyone raved about the food. The staff I dealt with prior to and the day of the shower were efficient, helpful and polite. BUT.........my problems were these....I was told I would have 3 tables of 10. Upon arriving there were 4 tables of 8 in the room. Therefore, I did not have a centerpiece for the 4th table. The carpet in the room had encrusted food on it and I had to get someone to vacuum the room shortly before my guests started arriving. The cushions on all the chairs were dirty with crumbs and I ran around cleaning them off. The dirty carpet and chairs are what ""really"" annoyed me. Their's no excuse for that! So, yes the place should have been cleaner but I am still recommending this restaurant since the food was excellent and the location on the bay is very nice.
