It says they provide ""professional management"" and ""Our entire staff is friendly and reliable. We are an honest and trustworthy facility, providing you with peace of mind.""
I wouldn't say this is true at all. My car wheel started to lock up during my trip home and the nearest place to stop was in the American Storage parking lot (which was completely empty). While I was on the phone with my mechanic scheduling a time to get my car towed, a woman by the name of Kelly, came out rudely explaining how we can't park here. What did she expect us to do? Push it to the nearest exit? She kept barking the whole time I was on the phone. The mechanic was even asking why she had been acting so rude and disrespectful. Remarks such as, ""Excuse me? What do you think you're doing? This is a private area. You think you have the right to pull into our property when it is private property and pump up your hood without telling us. That's so disrespectful. You should be respectful enough to come in and tell us what you are doing. Who knows what you are doing.""
We were disrespectful? How is that so? Because my main concern is to let you know that my car is not working? Private property? This is a commercial facility where customer's come and go. If there was a sign that said ""Private Property"" then maybe I would have pushed my car into some other commercial area that wouldn't bark rudely at me.
The next morning I even spoke with a manager regarding this issue. She, too, was unpleasantly rude. She didn't want to hear the story. I've never experienced such disrespect in the Mokena area ever. I'm so disappointed.
