Review content:
Danziger Caterers certainly delivered for us at our daughter's September, 2006, wedding. Stuart has great ( and often expensive) ideas, but knows how to prepare and present all the edibles for a fabulous wedding. The appetizers were gobbled to rave reviews, with special kudos to the Asian Short ribs and the Moroccan cigars. Passed appetizers weren't as nearly as exciting, but the eggplant pillow got good reviews. There was supposed to have been Asian potstickers, but either they didn't show or got ""lost"" between the Vietnamese Spring rolls (which I heard were good, but gone too soon) and theose short ribs which were ""to die for."" The salad was as good as at the tasting and worthy starter to a special night. The entrees were as expected, but beautifully plated. The desserts were BUTLER PASSED and a big WOW! With special comments going to the mini root beer floats, edible spoons of choclate mousse and raspberry sorbet. The parve pastries were as usual, pretty, but parve. (Although they were exactly what we ordered and served in a volume to ""feed an army."" I know the old adage ""you get what you pay for"" doesn't justify the bald cost of the Kosher catering, but I am satisfied that Danziger delivered what we ordered and exceeded our expectations in doing so.
