For 2 months after the surgery I thought everything was fine. Then one day in August I suddenly lost consciousness and fell down an escalator. I had marks on my left elbow and shoulder and was admitted to the hospital. I had a CAT scan done and 3 more tumors were found. I was told I may have a few days to live
The doctor at the hospital gave me chemo which was very toxic and steroids to minimize the swelling. I was there for 1 ½ weeks and discharged. I had so many side effects and was in extreme pain. My throat hurt so bad that I couldn’t swallow - I couldn’t eat or even drink water. My foot swelled up and I also had an infection in my ear.
Since beginning treatments at Angel Longevity Medical Center about a month ago I have experienced such great relief. I play piano as a hobby and I can tell my left hand is getting stronger and stronger. Even my friends tell me my playing is better than before! Also about 2 weeks ago I realized that the sharp pain in my head and shoulder was almost all gone! I can sleep deeply 5-6 hours straight. I am so relieved!!!
The staff is very personal and friendly. Alejandra, the Medical Assistant, is very caring and takes good care of me.
