I WOULD NEVER HIRE STRONG ARM MOVING AGAIN!!
I hired two guys to arrive at 130p to help load/unload (mostly furniture) with my rental truck. They finally arrived at 430p. (yes, 3 hours late!!) Found out they had been scheduled on another job (2 hours away) until 2p. Ryan said they will provide plastic and wrap our furniture, etc. at no add'l charge. The guys had no idea they were supposed to have plastic and even said the company doesn't even stock it. Why is Ryan making scheduling appointments that are overlapped and impossible to meet, and making commitments to provide services that they apparently cannot deliver??!! When they finally arrived, there were three guys. I was told one was in training, so we would only be charged for two. Trying to appease me from them being 3 hours late and not having the plastic wrap as promised, Ryan tried to claim the loading should go sooo much faster. While the guys were friendly (for the most part), they were far from fast. After closing the door on the rental truck at 7p, we commented about driving to the new place to unload and the guys surprised us by indicating their day ends at 7p, and they were done for the day. You have got to be kidding me!! Arrive 3 hours late and then have the nerve to say they're done since is 7p!!
Thankfully we have excellent friends who stepped up to help! Moving is stressful enough as it is, but to then have it compounded by hiring a bunch of false promises.
NO THANKS! I WOULD NEVER HIRE STRONG ARM MOVING AGAIN!!
