Review content:
I read on the website about the holistic services they offer and I was excited to take my dog to receive holistic care. They said the first appointment was free and the receptionist was very friendly.
When we arrived I noticed the dry dog food and vitamin supplements on the walls which seemed odd to me for a place that says they treat holistically. The front desk staff were very nice an welcoming. The vet tech took us back and told us how Toro (our perfectly healthy and happy dog) needed several vaccines, monthly medication, and vitamins. I was told that if we did not get these things he would suffer immense pain and it would be very expensive to treat. The vet came in with the same ideas. I interpreted their words and tone of voice that if I did not do these things I did not care for my dog.
I feel they completely misrepresent their treatment style when they say they are in any way holistic. If you are looking for standard medicine this seemed like a very nice and professional place.
We are now taking him to a place that really does holistic animal care in santa rosa. It is more expensive and I feel in both instances I got what I paid for.
