Review content:
I was a little hesitant to bring my mom here after seeing the reviews, but a tour and good word of the discharge coordinator helped ease my mind to sign her up. It was one of the best decisions that I have made during this roller-coaster ride through Cancer. The room they had her in was gorgeous with a flat screen TV and cable. She had a nice quiet hospital bed and all of the staff was on the ball the whole time. When you walked out into the hallway, they weren't just sitting around the internet or gossiping in the lunchroom, but they had their noses down and working. They have a top notch fitness area with plenty of toys for differing physical abilities.
My mom just died in this facility this morning, so my journey with them is now over...but Heartland has made this as pleasant of an experience as possible considering the circumstances. I would recommend that you bring your loved ones there.
Pros: Attentive staff and well designed rooms
Cons: None come to mind
