Businiess name:  Ron's Cleaners Of Shakopee
Review by:  Sarah E.
Review content:
I brought in 4 items to get dry cleaned. I was at first, very impressed by the follow up done with the store, as they called me 2 times, to request permission for repairs to my winter coat (1 of the items I brought in for cleaning). I was given a quote of under $10 one of the repairs. (I asked for a quote when they called, as I knew that the bill was already large, and I wanted to verify this wasn't going to set me back too much.) For under $10, it seemed reasonable to me. When I went in to pick up my dry cleaning, the bill was ridiculously high, and I realized they were charging me $25 for the repair, I was quoted $10 for. I questioned this, and told them I would pay what I was quoted over the phone. I ended up talking to the presumed owner -Ron- and through many conversations, (by my interpretation) implied that I was either stupid, a liar, or cheap and unable to pay my bill. He accused me of wanting something for free. I told him, I didn't want anything for free, I wanted to pay what I was quoted. I even offered to pay $10 more than quoted, but $15 less than they were trying to charge me. He then told me, he wouldn't adjust the price at all, that he doesn't need customers like me. If he doesn't need customers like me, then he doesn't need my money. I am still willing to pay what I was quoted. However, he will not accept that, and therefore still has all 4 items of my dry-cleaning. He also told me, that he can charge way more than anyone else does, because he is the best in the business. Beware when using Ron’s cleaners. I was treated poorly. Not only do they charge more than any other places I compared to, I found out that quotes over the phone are not honored, and they also do not have any pricelists posted. So the final bill is a surprise. In my case, not a good surprise.
