I needed my car looked at, not knowing exactly what needed done. I am new to the area, so I decided to use City Search to help me find a place to take my car.
Lucas Auto Care had two great perks in that 1. It had WONDERFUL reviews, and 2. it is mere blocks from my apartment.
The evening I planned to take my car for a quick peek happened to be the same day I had a staff meeting that ran very late. I called Lucas Auto Care, explaining I was on my way, but was stuck behind traffic (this would be an hour ride home rather than a half hour). I called again when I was a few minutes away (5 minutes before they closed). They told me to come on in and they would look at my car. I was very relieved, and drove on in.
The man working there was wonderful. He looked at my car, explained what was going on, then showed me exactly what was going on with my exhaust system.
After a rougher than I would have preferred day, this place made my day. They let me come in close to closing, they took their time past closing to explain my car situation, explain what needed done, and gave me recommendations on how best to take care of my car, my time, and my wallet.
I had a great experience here, and am pleased and comforted to have found a place I feel comfortable taking my car.
