I was first introduced to John O?Connor and his company CareerPro Inc. approximately five years ago when I needed professional help to generate my resume. The end product was unbelievably successful for me, so when I needed an updated and ?refreshed? version this year, I immediately went back to John and his team. The resume he designed for me this year even exceeded what he had previously done for me. I have received very favorable feedback on the product he produced for me. An example of the responses I received came from an HR professional and international recruiter for a global IT company I have known for over 15 years. I sent the updated version of my resume to her for feedback and she informed me that it was one of the most visual and quality resumes she has seen. My resume is manufacturing / operations focused, but she put my resume on a conference table with eight other executive-level resumes she had received and asked her staff to select the one they felt was the most impressive. Three of the four individuals selected my resume. Four years ago, I e-mailed my CareerPro resume to a company that had received over a thousand responses to their ad for a Plant Manager in a start-up venture, and received a phone call from the VP of HR literally 20 minutes later. In other words, John O?Connor and his staff create a very visual and effective instrument for presenting an individual?s brand and credentials. They also host an Executives in Transition meeting every week and that search support group interaction has been incredibly helpful to me. In all, I was taught many years ago that presentation is 90% of selling, and I honestly believe that Career Pro Inc.?s product competes on a national level and I look forward to engaging Career Pro Inc. on even more branding and outplacement help. I trust them and you can trust them too.
