Review content:
First of all, my wife and I have never taken the time to write a review before, but our experience here warranted a response. We had been meaning to try 4th street ever since we moved to downtown Gresham. We had heard from a friend that he received bad service but we decided to try it ourselves anyway due to the quality of the other downtown restaurants. Well, our friend was right. Our server was uninterested in assisting us and didn't ever smile or even make eye contact. She was not friendly. The food was overpriced for the quality. I ordered the ""Mac Attack"", their version of mac and cheese. The menu made it sound unique and spicy, but I was served a small chunk of what seemed to be reheated pasta. It was actually square... And all the noodles were stuck in that form as if it was cut from a pan. I ordered it with the spicy sausage that was listed on the menu for it, which cost me $3 extra and got me about 7 or 8 little slices of sausage. All in all, the $13 mac and cheese was bland. My wife ordered the fish and chips. There was nothing specifically horrible about it, but it cost $16 and the five pieces of halibut didn't pack much in the way of flavor. But the fries were good. It's a very nice building, and I suppose if you were just looking for a place to have a beer and watch some sports it would be fine. Although there was not one specific horrible thing, the all together experience was very disappointing, and unfortunately I am unable to recommend 4th street to anyone. Pros: Nice building? Cons: food, service, pricing
