My husband and I had never been to Anchorage, and since we were visiting for just 1 day without a car many friends suggested we find a way to get to Flattop Mountain for a hike. We weren't sure what to expect, but we had a blast, largely due to the helpful staff at Flattop Mountain Shuttle.
The staff were incredibly friendly and very educational. You can tell they all love where they live and what they do! They fully prepared us for the hike - as well as the bike - back to town. They equipped us with maps, bikes, helmets, a backpack and bear spray (which luckily, we didn't need to use). And riding back to anchorage via bike instead of the van was such a perfect way to see the city and what so many of the locals love about it (the bike trails!)
We would highly recommend using this great crew to get you to one of the best outdoor adventures Anchorage has to offer!
