Review content:
I live in Raleigh and visit Charlotte often for work. I decided to stop in Zink on a Sunday evening for dinner. I was in the mood for sushi, but didn't realize they served it until after I sat down. I saw the sushi menu and was ecstatic. Then I saw the prices and thought ""oh well, I still want sushi."" My happiness over finding sushi quickly turned to utter disgust when I saw what was put out before me. This is the worst sushi I have ever had, and I eat sushi 2-3 times per week. They tried to make it look bigger than it really is by using ridiculously huge amounts of rice. You could practically see through the salmon. The unagi nigiri I ordered was awful. It was literally 1/2 inch wide. I had an order (2 pcs) of eel, salmon, tuna, a Zinc Inc. roll, 1 beer and it was $40. Raleigh is just as expensive as Charlotte and in the sushi place downtown there, for that money, I could easily feed 2 people on a much better quality sushi. The rest of the menu looked good, but never again will I visit this place unless I know changes are made.
